Symmetry - the Bud Fadale Trio

Symmetry - an imprecise sense of harmonious or aesthetically pleasing proportionality and balance; such that it reflects beauty or perfection.

“Symmetry”, the Bud Fadale Trio, is a result of harmonious arrangement. The concept behind the group is simple, being a bassist, my role in most of the groups I work with is usually primarily a support one. This was not the case in my 30 year collaboration with the Chu Nero Trio. Although, no doubt, Chu was the featured artist and artist he was indeed, both bass and drums were an equal voice in the trio. I know that Chu can and will never be replaced, but, fortunately, the Buffalo area has an exceptional wealth of wonderful musicians. I have always wanted to work in various combinations of these unique and gifted musicians. Symmetry will provide me a way to do exactly that. Symmetry will not always be the same musicians; the only real constant will be me, and some of the material that I want to present. Symmetry will always strive to have all the voices of the group be equally present and in harmonious arrangement.
